Just in case you wonder why a simple sudo zypper install sometimes loads dozens or more unneeded, but possibly related packages, its not a bug, its a feature!
While Debian by default only hints you to these additional packages during the install phase, openSUSE installs them all by default. Try it ...

An der Ecke Täubchenweg / Breite Straße stand seit Jahren ein baufälliges altes Gründerzeithaus. Es wurde bezeiten mit grünen Spannfliess abgesichert und großflächig mit einem neuen Medizinzentrum ("Medineum") beworben. Wenn ich auf das Wahlergebnis schaue, bekomme ich schlechte Laune. Schwarz-Rot war schon schlimm, aber vier Jahre Schwarz-Gelb sind nicht gut für Deutschland. Hier nun noch einmal kurz zusammengefasst, was wir in der nächsten Zeit zu erwarten haben:

Spiegel meldet jüngst die Ablehnung der Bundesregierung, Staatshilfen bzw. Notkredite für Arcandor, der angeschlagenen Karstadt-Mutter, zu bewilligen. Ungeprüft geflossen ist dagegen noch im letzten Herbst und bis heute das Geld für die HRE-Rettung. Eine Bank ist halt systemrelevant, so ein Kaufhaus-Multi mit Zigtausenden Beschäftigten eben nicht.
Nur damit wir uns nicht ...
